I pride myself in the ability to have a deep understanding and connection with horses. My greatest achievements are when I provide someone with an image of their horse, and their faces light up with astonishment and smiles.

Dark Bay Photography is a young and small business, but my experience stretches over the past 6 years. I am based in the San Francisco Bay Area; however I also frequent the Central Valley.

I just came back from a wonderful weekend up at the KC Ranch in Oroville, CA.



Kevin and Carolynn Osborn of KC Ranch host an annual round-up to gather and vaccinate their herd of Belted Galloways.



I've been honored to call them my friends for close to 9 years now. Carolynn helped me begin my riding career and gave me the confidence to create a photography business. I would not be anywhere without these folks in my life! Big thanks to them for bringing all of us together for a great weekend full of great memories.

The weather here in the Bay Area has been phenomenal! I photographed a lovely Friesian Gelding for Janna at Black Sterling Friesians last week. I absolutely loved driving in my [new] little convertible through the wine country of Sonoma.. Gorgeous!
